What is the Healthy Investment Stocks and Shares ISA?

A tax efficient individual savings account these benefits:-

regular bonuses from the date of commencement
guaranteed withdrawal without penalty on the 10th anniversary and every 5 years thereafter
a final bonus may be payable, subject to investment performance

Who can take out an Stocks and Shares ISA?

any U.K. resident over the age of 18

How much can I save?

from as little as £500, up to the government Maximum of £7200 in any tax year in the single premium ISA or alternatively,
payments can be divided into monthly payments from as little as £25. These payments must total at least £500 within the first three years of the plan, but cannot exceed £7200 in any tax year
once this £7200 limit is reached you cannot contribute any more until the following tax year

How long do I have to save for?

there is no fixed term
you can stop payments at any time
it should be seen as a long term investment
you are advised to leave it to run for at least ten years
if you cash it in prior to this you could get back less than you have paid in

Can I have another ISA?

you are eligible to invest in the Healthy Investment Stocks and Shares ISA in addition to any Cash ISA that you may have with another ISA manager

What happens if I die?

the amount payable on death is the greater of 101% of the sum assured plus regular bonuses accrued to the date of death or the sum assured plus regular bonuses accrued to date plus final bonus

What do you mean by tax efficient?

you will not have to pay any income or capital gains tax on any money you receive from the plan, the fund in which premiums are invested may be liable to income and capital gains

How will my money be invested?

your money will be invested in the Healthy Investment With Profits Fund

How do I keep track of my investment?

we will send you an annual bonus statement to show you how your plan is progressing
