Members of the Red Rose Friendly Society, based in Blackburn, have joined the Healthy Investment family. After a long process involving both the Prudential Regulation Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority, the members of Red Rose Friendly Society voted in favour of transferring the Society’s policies to Healthy Investment.
The transfer became effective on 10 February 2025.
There will be no change to the terms and conditions of the policies issued by Red Rose. With-profits members will share in the profits of the enlarged With-profits Fund run by Healthy Investment and managed ethically in partnership with Legal & General Investment Management.
Peter Green, Chief Executive, of Healthy Investment explained, ‘we’re committed to keeping and growing the Red Rose brand of ethical savings and investments, especially those who serve sections of the community who traditionally have found it harder to access financial services.’
Both societies have a long history, a commitment to ethical investment and provide their members with personal service.
Members are able to contact Red Rose Assurance on their existing telephone numbers and email addresses.
Mark Sedgley, Chief Executive and Sazeda Patel MBE, a Non-executive Director of Red Rose will be joining the Board of Healthy Investment. Peter added ‘this continuity of knowledge will enable us to fulfil our regulatory responsibilities and exceed member expectations following the transfer.’
In addition to a range of traditional With-profits policies Red Rose Assurance is a specialist provider of Shariah ISAs and Junior ISAs.
